God bless you all, see you Sunday.

Only a few of you answered correctly about the Sunday before the crusifixion. The people were waving palms and laying them at the feet of Jesus and praising him as he entered
Jerusalem. Where as a week later they are spitting at him and pushing him demanding he be crucified.
Someone commented on the scene when Mary, Jesus' mother, went to him when he fell, not being able to help him as she did when he was a child. But in reality she did help him by accepting what Jesus was going through. Had it been I, most likely I would have been yelling and trying to stop them, instead of being steadfast and supporting the will of God. Mary was Jesus' perfect disciple.
Recall the scene where Jesus tells Peter, on this night, you Peter will deny me three times, and Peter says never; I will follow you unto death. Peter does deny him as Jesus said. Jesus while on earth instituted the seven Sacraments because Jesus knew we humans are weak, and without Him we will not make it, so He shares His Divine life (Grace) with us through the sacraments. It also shows that despite our sinfullness He loves us and wants us with Him in heaven, that is why we were created.
Jesus falls while carrying the cross and yet continues to get up again and again. We also should never give up no matter how difficult it may be, we must keep trying.
Note, there are two homeworks.
Homework due 4-18-21
1.What in the video on exorcism did you not understand or find hard to believe.
2.what are the seven things we should not get involved with that open us up to the occult.
To your left is the video we saw on Sunday. If you did not take notes then you can get the information from the video.
Second Homework - also due 4-18-21.
Below is a video on the 10 Commandments. It is a very thorough explanation by Dennis Prager of Prager U. His explanation for each of the ten Commanments is quite good but slightly different in the order they are presented compared to the Catholic Church. Also, he is of the Jewish faith, so there will be some things left out that pertains to the Catholic Faith. Nevertheless it is a good presentation. We will discuss it at class. Write down any questions you may have.
Thank you
